My favorite ad was the digital detox challenge. It looked interesting and got me thinking of how much technology we plug ourselves into instead of the real world. Technology is helpfull and serves a purpose, but too much time occupied with technology takes us away from face-to-face time with people and the real world. We live in an electronic world instead of seeing the real one.
Their position is to help the world(environmentally) and to make people think of their actions and what effect they have on themselves and others. One example would be the digital detox challenge. People are challenged to unplug from their digital world and be able to focus on people and the rest of the world. To see what is being missed out on by taking too much time on electronics. The site’s audience is anyone who will listen and start a change or at least start thinking with a different perspective.
The idea of an anti-ad goes back to the purpose of helping the environment by buying earth friendlier products instead of marked up brand names. The ads also go along with changing peoples perspectives(again the digital detox challenge).
